Daniel Robert Macfie Obituary, Death - Myrtle Beach Man Remembered at 52

Daniel Robert Macfie, affectionately known as “Dan” or “Danny,” passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was 52 years old.

Born on March 9, 1974, in Mastic Beach, New York, Dan was remembered as a loving son, father, brother, and friend whose warmth, humor, and generosity left a lasting impression on those around him.

Dan was known for his kind heart and his ability to see the good in people. Friends and family remembered him as someone who cared deeply for others, brought laughter into everyday moments, and was always willing to lend a hand when someone needed help.

His work in plumbing and as a handyman reflected his practical nature and willingness to be useful to others. Whether helping with a job or assisting someone who needed support, Dan took pride in making life a little easier for the people around him.

He is survived by his parents, Donald Macfie and Nora Macfie; his son, Caleb Macfie; his sisters, Tamara McGlone and Elizabeth Williams; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas McGlone and Ryan Williams. He also leaves behind extended family members and many friends who will continue to remember him with love.

Those who knew Dan will remember his laughter, caring nature, generous spirit, and the way he looked for the good in others. The memories he created with family, friends, and others throughout his life will remain part of his legacy.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home, 4505 Hwy 17 Bypass South, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29577.

In lieu of flowers, Dan’s family will donate personal care items in his honor, reflecting his lifelong willingness to help others.
